The preview clip and synopsis for the upcoming episode of season 6 of The Good Wife was recently revealed and it hints at the entrance of a new formidable opponent for Alicia in the state's attorney race.

Exciting New Stills For The Upcoming Episode Of The Good Wife

The video primarily focusses on Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and guest star David Hyde Pierce (Fraiser), who will be playing a celebrated cable news legal commentator on the show. The interview which takes place at CBS News, seems to be the first public interview Alicia might be giving as part of her campaign. But there is mroe than meets the eye. The clip further reveals that Pierce's character could be running for state's attorney too, particuarly to address the issue of high rates of crime and corruption in the state.

One of Alicia's campaign advisers is seen warning her about Pierce's character, stating that he is a bigger brand than her, so she needs to be more aggressive.

Earlier this year, the executive producers Robert and Michelle King spoke about getting the Fraiser alum on board.

"We couldn't be more thrilled and flattered that David's making The Good Wife his first TV role since Frasier," they stated. "We're tremendous fans of his dramatic skills as well as his comedy."
