The quest to find the Snow Queen continues on the next episode of Once Upon a Time, titled Family Business. It was discovered that the Snow Queen was actually a foster mother to Emma (Jennifer Morrison) when the latter was a child, adding extra gravitas to the situation. ABC has released a plot synopsis for the next episode, which states that the hunt continues.

"The race is on to track down the elusive Snow Queen, who was once a foster mother to a young Emma - whose memories of this event have been erased - in order to discover what her ultimate end game is for Elsa [Georgina Haig] and the residents of Storybrooke," the synopsis reads.

Meanwhile, Belle (Emilie de Ravin) is attempting to find the Snow Queen herself by enlisting her still untrustworthy husband Rumple (Robert Carlyle) for help.

"Unaware that she does not possess the real blade that controls The Dark One, Belle attempts to use it to get her reluctant husband to show her where the Snow Queen is hiding," the synopsis continues.

The episode also features a flashback to Belle in the past, where she journeys to Arendelle where "with Anna's [Elizabeth Lail] help, [she] seeks out Grand Pabbie [John Rhys-Davies] to help her regain her lost memories in order to discover the fate of her mother."

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
