As Todd Chrisley of USA's Chrisley Knows Best faces drama with his son Kyle Chrisley, it has been confirmed that his younger brother, Randy, has been diagnosed with stage four cancer.

Todd Chrisley Responds To Kyle Chrisley's Claims That 'He Ruined Me'

A representative for Todd confirmed the news via a statement to Us Weekly Thursday.

"Todd Chrisley and his family are saddened to announce that his younger brother, Randy, has been diagnosed with stage four cancer. As of today, they have started arduous and long road of radiation and chemotherapy.

"The family remains hopeful of a full and speedy recovery for their beloved Randy. The family is asking for privacy and respect during this process, especially for Randy's young family who are trying to cope with this very recent and unexpected prognosis. There will be no further comments regarding this matter."

News of Randy's condition comes just as Todd is involved with a high profile and very public battle with his oldest son, Kyle.

Kyle recently spoke to Daily Mail and slammed Todd for not only kicking him off the popular series, but being a "controlling" "snake" who "stole" his two-year-old daughter, Chloe, for ratings.

He told the news site, "My dad showed no interest in Chloe at all until the show and until it was pointed out that having a mixed race child and getting her and all that would be good for his demographic. He didn't want to see her before then. He said he wanted nothing to do with her."

He added that his father "ruined" him.
