Breakout star of USA's Chrisley Knows Best Todd Chrisley has broken his silence on the shocking cancer diagnosis of his brother.

He took to Twitter to ask fans for prayers and support.

The reality TV dad wrote Thursday afternoon, "Today is the beginning of a long road for our family, please pray that the lord blesses my brother and heals his body. #ChrisleyKnowsBest".

It is not clear if the trial the Chrisley's face with Todd's brother, Randy, will be aired on the series. Either way, Todd was met with a flood of prayers and well wishes for the Chrisley clan.

The youngest daughter of the family, Savannah, also spoke out on the matter via Instagram. She shared a picture of an Us Weekly article that broke the news concerning Randy's health condition.

She also included the caption, "A ton of you guys have asked so that's what's going on.....please pray for our family as we go through this difficult time...I do believe that God has a plan for everyone and sadly this is just part of my uncles...

"but we'll get through this together because that's just how we do things!! But also...the power of prayer is huge so please just pray for a full recovery...thank you guys for all of your love and support. I love you Uncle Randy".

Chase also tweeted out his hopes that fans would keep their family in mind.

"My uncle was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, everyone please keep he and my entire family in your prayers!"

Us Weekly first reported the news Thursday evening. A rep for the family revealed that Randy has begun chemotherapy and radiation as he fights for total and whole health.
