Tim McGraw Chooses Family Over Music

McGraw opened up to Spotlight Country about his career, success and marriage to the love of his life.

Apparently he and Hill celebrated their anniversary with a good old-fashioned date night at the movies. McGraw then added that his wife and three daughters are amazing, noting that he has "the most beautiful and confident young ladies." His family has taught him "humility" and he hopes his daughters are able to achieve all they want to in life.

As for country music, McGraw revealed that he knew the exact moment in which the level of his success truly hit him.

"It was during a show in Houston when the line to get in was over a mile long and there was no more space inside the venue," the singer explained. "They had giant monitors in the parking lot and at one point I stopped singing and the crowd sang the whole entire song."

McGraw will be performing at the CMA Awards this week, where he is also a nominee for his duet with Hill Meanwhile Back At Mama's off the star's latest album Sundown Heaven Town.

The 48th Annual CMA Awards will air live on ABC Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m.
