Covert Affairs is finally returning for new episodes with a new sneak peek on something that Auggie is about to discover about Annie.

'Covert Affairs' Actor Teases Upcoming Episode That He Directed

Annie is in Istanbul trying to find Belenko, but Auggie doesn't know this- until now.

On Wednesday, The Shawnee News-Star posted a sneak peek of the upcoming episode where Joan talks to Auggie in the office about Annie. Auggie says that they're not in a position to go after Belenko, but Joan says that Annie's covering that on her own.

Joan then gives something to Auggie that might make a change since Arthur told her to give it to him. But of course, whatever she gave him is clearly invisible, but it looks like some kind of note that she slipped into his hand.

In a behind-the-scenes look posted on TV Guide, Piper Perabo (Annie) revealed that they had filmed in Istanbul before and there is a reason why the writers wanted to come back.

"The episode looked so good and so beautiful that the writers have been looking for a new way to get the story to go here again," Perabo said.

Director of photography Colin Hoult mentioned what the next episode will be like due to the filming's location

"It gives our episode a feeling of the exotic," Hoult said. "It's totally an exciting place and something that's totally different than anything that North Americans can only see, so it seems like a really exciting place for our characters to have their adventure."

Covert Affairs returns on Thursday, November 6 at 10 p.m. ET on USA.
