The online retailer continues with its Daily Deals on Thursday, with a certain number of select items being offered at a significantly reduced price for a limited time. Select jewelry items received 40 percent to 68 percent off, while other items such as clothes and watches scored 75 percent to 93 percent discounts.

These deals will continue daily, with new items being featured each hour while supplies last. Other discounts, such as the more general jewelry sales, will last all month long as retailers continue with Black Friday deals early in an attempt to boost sales.

Early sales could also reduce the number of people rushing to stores on Black Friday itself, a day which has often been noted for overcrowding and occasionally injury both in parking lots and in stores. With deals spread out over the course of the month, and many to be found online, it's possible that shopping will be a little calmer this holiday season.
