The icy drama continues on the next few episodes of ABC's Once Upon a Time as Elsa (Georgina Haig) and Anna (Elizabeth Lail) come together in Arendelle and the Snow Queen's (Elizabeth Mitchell) desperation is explored.

Lail spoke with TVGuide.com in a recent interview about Elsa and Anna, revealing that they "get to work together back in Arendelle," adding, "So we get to see the two sisters become a team and formulate a plan."

As the report notes, this will make things more difficult for the Snow Queen, who is trying to separate the Frozen sisters.

As far as whether or not the Snow Queen can be redeemed amid her plan to create a sisterhood with Elsa and Emma (Jennifer Morrison), Mitchell doesn't seem confident.

"Whether or not she can come back, I don't know. It's interesting," she told Access Hollywood recently. "I do believe that people can be redeemed, but it's a hard case here. I mean, she's basically saying that people who are magical are worth something and people who are not, are not and that's really terrifying to me. Any time you get into that is really pretty horrifying to me."

Mitchell did not necessarily defend the Snow Queen's destructive tendencies, but she admitted that this could happen to anyone who was locked away for so long.

"I think that you lock somebody up even in just a cage for a year and they'll go out of their mind. This is 30 years, this is a crazy woman, so I think she's completely mad," Mitchell said.

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
