‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Cast News: Four Actresses Who Could Replace Kim Matula As Hope Logan [PHOTOS]
Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful were shocked recently with the announcement that Kim Matula was planning to leave the role of Hope Logan.

Matula elected not to renew her contract and stay on with the CBS soap, where she portrayed the role for four years, and has already finished filming her final episodes of the show (which will likely air at the end of the year).
Reps for the show have not confirmed plans for the character or whether or not they will recast it or just write her out of the show. Considering Hope's pivotal role in the recent storylines of the show (she has been involved in a love quadrangle of sorts with on-screen husband Wyatt [Darin Brooks], on-screen former fiancé Liam [Scott Clifton] and on-screen co-worker Ivy [Ashleigh Brewer]), it doesn't seem likely that her character would be written off the show completely. (She is also pregnant on the show).
With that in mind, Enstars compiled a list of four actresses who could replace Matula:
1. Brooke Newton (former Colby on All My Children reboot), age 27
Newton is close in age to Matula (who is 26), and has very similar looks with blonde hair and blue eyes. Matula also wasn't an established soap actress when she won the role of Hope either-and Newton's only prior work on a soap was for the one season of the AMC reboot that appeared online before the show was officially cancelled. The Bold and the Beautiful has also recently taken to bringing in actresses who aren't established in the soap world yet and giving them their break. Both Ashleigh Brewer and Ashlyn Pearce were new to soap operas when they joined the show this year. Newton could make a great fit.
2. Crystal Hunt (former Stacy on One Life To Live & former Lizzie on Guiding Light), age 29
Like Newton, Hunt is also close in age and appearance to Matula, which could make her into a convincing Hope.
3. Stephanie Gatschet (former Madison on All My Children and Tammy on Guiding Light), age 31
Though a little older than Matula, Gatschet is another stunning blonde with big blue eyes-making her another convincing Hope replacement.
4. Kelly Kruger ( current Eva on Bold and the Beautiful and former Mackenzie on Young & The Restless), age 32
Though Kruger wouldn't be a Hope recast as she already has a minor recurring role on the soap, her character could fit nicely as a new love interest for Wyatt if Hope leaves him. Off-screen, Kruger and Brooks are engaged to be married, so bringing Kruger's character up to full-time as a love interest for her fiance's character would make sense because the two would have fantastic on-screen chemistry together.
