Two familiar faces in Port Charles will soon be on-screen a bit less on General Hospital.

Both Kelly Thiebaud (Britt Westbourne) and Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix DuBois) have opted to not renew their contracts with the ABC soap, and have been bumped down to recurring roles as a result, We Love Soaps reports. In addition to them, John J. York (Mac Scorpio) will also be a recurring character.

It is unclear what exactly prompted all three actors to choose a new status on the show, but Thiebaud may be planning to leave permanently in order to pursue other roles.

Thiebaud has bene on the show for two years, playing the scheming Doctor Britt, who tried to convince Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) he was the father of her baby, but was proven to be a liar. It was later revealed that she had stolen Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu's (Emmee Rylan) embryo and her son was theirs. The character is currently in a relationship with Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher).

York has portrayed the role of Mac since 1991, while Samuel has been playing Felix since 2012.

Neither Thiebaud or York has made a statement about the decision to become recurring status, but Samuel did take to his Twitter page to inform fans that he wasn't going anywhere permanently and would still be involved with the show part time.

"Hey fans thanks for the support. GH is just a small part of a great and ongoing journey. Onward and upward! To be clear guys, I'm recurring. No on contract though," he wrote Nov. 11.
