China reigned supreme once again, taking the gold in the women's 10-meter platform on Aug. 9.

Chen Ruolin added another gold medal to her collection and Australia's Brittany Broben got silver with Pandelela Rinong Pamg of Malaysia coming in with the bronze.

Ruolin's final score of 422.30 put her high above any of the other competitors; Broben only scored 366.50. She scored 86.40 twice - once for her third dive, the armstand back double somersault 1 ½ twists, and another for her back 2 1/1 somersault 1 ½ twists, her last dive of the day.

Broben scored an 83.20 for both her second and third dives, her highest score in the competition, and a 81.60 for her last dive.

China continues to dominate the diving category at the Olympics. They hold the most Olympic medals received in London with a total of 9. Ruolin herself already has a total 15 gold medals, from the Olympics, World Championships, Asian Games and FINA World Cup.

Fans expected the 19-yer-old to deliver and she did, taking home her second gold medal from the London Games. She was also the champion in the women's synchronized 10-meter platform finals, scoring a 368.40 with her partner Wang Ho.

The 10-meter platform final marked the last women's diving event for the 2012 Olympic Games. The men still need to compete in the preliminary round, semifinals and finals for the 10-meter platform.
