Anna Kendrick has found a "positive" thing about the recent celebrity photo hacking.

Anna Kendrick Has 87 Hacked Images Released?

Following the massive leak of several celebrities' nude photos, Kendrick spoke out, claiming that while the incident was certainly unfortunate, it has led to productive conversations regarding celebrities and their freedom to take photos of themselves.

"I’m happy that it seems like more people are coming around. Because it happened en masse in that way, it forced people to come around and go, 'Everybody does this and victim-blaming is not helping,'" Kendrick revealed to The Daily Beast, posted on Tuesday. "Because before that, there was a lot of, 'If you didn’t want naked photos of yourself on the Internet, well, you shouldn’t have taken them.'"

Anna Kendrick Not Nude In Hacked Photos, But Shown Smoking Marijuana?

After many photos hit the web, critics and fans slammed the celebrities targeted, claiming it was their own faults for taking photos of themselves. However, non-famous people all over the globe do the same, and don't have to worry about their photos being plastered all over the internet. So, is it the fault of celebrities or is the fault of the hackers? Kendrick is hoping people will soon realize that famous people deserve privacy just like the rest of the world.

"It really shifted the conversation. Friends of mine that had taken the other attitude were like, 'People should be able to do whatever they want, and it’s f**ked up that that happened to them,'" she explained. "That’s the lone positive that came out of that whole thing."

Since the celebrity photo leaks began in September, many celebrities have taken legal action. Unfortunately, their photos have remained online, despite their efforts.
