Just one win shy from the gold medal game at the 2012 Olympics, Team USA will take on Argentina in a semifinals matchup on Friday.

Not unknown to each other, America and Argentina have already faced off twice this summer; once in pool play and  also in an exhibition.  The U.S. has won both times 126-97 and 86-80 respectively.

Surprisingly enough, this will indeed be the 3rd straight Olympic semifinal game between the two clubs.  However, the United States did come out of both the 2004 Athens Games and 2008 Beijing Games victorious.

LeBron, Kobe and the rest of the squad are clearly the favorites in this Andre versus Goliath type matchup that has many already writing off the Argentinians.

Not one to back down, Argentina's forward Manu Ginobili had the following to say regarding the team's  reality, according to NBC Miami:

"We have maybe a five percent chance of winning," he said.

"But we are going to fight for that," Ginobili added.

After putting up the very first triple-double performance in Olympic history against the Argentinians this past Wednesday, King LeBron is very much looking forward to the semifinals showdown.

"We are going against a team next that we know, that we are used to playing. They are going to be excited to play us; we are going to be excited to play them, too," James stated, according to the news site.

Team USA will take on Argentina in the 2012 London Olympic Games Men's Basketball Semifinals on Friday, August 10th at 4PM EST.
