After being incarcerated Saturday night for an assault on his wife Evelyn Lozada, Chad Johnson (formerly know as Chad Ochocinco) has apparently left jail at around 10 A.M. on Sunday, according to TMZ.

Alongside his lawyer Adam Swickle, the controversial football star was bombarded with a slew of queries from reporters who were standing by just outside the station. However, Johnson did remain mum while en route to a parked SUV.

According to the police report filed, the 34 year-old had head-butted Lozada in response to noticing a receipt for purchasing condoms.

It was recently reported by the online gossip site that the altercation between the Miami Dolphins player and Lozada was so extreme that she had to rush off to a neighbor's house for her own well-being.

The "Basketball Wives" standout was said to be very afraid of her hubby, as she had allegedly contacted the police shortly after her arrival.

It was reported that Johnson began yelling the following at Lozada:

"I don't give a f**k! I don't give a f**k about my career!" he said, also according to the online gossip site.

It is also was alleged that Johnson went cruising around the area looking for Lozada after the incident.

The police officer who was on the scene claims that he witnessed a 3" laceration on her forehead.  When the police man had spoken to Johnson, he had admitted that the two did indeed quarrel.

However, Johnson claimed that she had yelled "F**k it!" and head-butted him.  He also told the officer he was driving around in order to give her time to calm down.

Johnson soon after was arrested for domestic violence and left Sunday morning after posting a $2,500 bond.
