'American Horror Story' Season 4 Spoilers: Which 'Freak Show' Performer Will Die In The 'Blood Bath' Of Episode 8? [VIDEO]
The next episode of FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show is expected to feature a big death, though there is still some speculation as to who it might be.
Episode 8 of AHS: Freak Show is titled Blood Bath and if the episode lives up to its title, fans may have to prepare themselves for even more tragedy. We have already lost beloved characters like Meep (Ben Woolf), Twisty the Clown (John Carroll Lynch) and Ma Petite (Jyoti Amge), but who's next?
This title, plus the synopsis for episode 9, seems to suggest that the person who dies is someone close to Jimmy (Evan Peters).

"In the wake of a tragic loss, Jimmy sinks into a drunken despair," the synopsis reads. "A reading from Maggie [Emma Roberts] spurs Dandy [Finn Wittrock] to action. Stanley [Denis O'Hare] and Elsa [Jessica Lange] track down the Twins [Sarah Paulson]."
The characters in this synopsis appear to be safe, but there are many that are not mentioned who could be knocking on death's door.
The most likely candidate might be Jimmy's mother, Ethel Darling (Kathy Bates). In episode 3 it was revealed that Ethel had terminal liver cancer. Whether she dies from this or something potentially more horrifying, this could be the dramatic death that kicks the season's final act into high gear.
Many of the performers in the freak show could be at risk as well. Paul the Illustrated Seal (Mat Fraser) almost died from being stabbed on the bullseye by Elsa (Jessica Lange) so he may perish, while others like Amazon Eve (Erika Ervin) and Legless Suzi (Rose Siggins) could die also.
It seems possible that Dandy (Finn Wittrock) is the one to potentially do the killing as he is said to be part of a big "twist" at the end of the episode, according to the actor himself.
Either way, AHS fans should probably prepare themselves for the worst ahead of Wednesday night's episode.
