Twin Peaks fans who love the Log Lady (Catherine E. Coulson) are in for some good news.

'Twin Peaks' Star Sheryl Lee Slams Negative Report About Her Life

Coulson appeared at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts on Saturday to speak at "A Unified Field," an event featuring the art of David Lynch, one of the co-creators of Twin Peaks. The actress's appearance was titled "A 'Peek' at Twin Peaks with The Log Lady" and she admitted one key bit of information regarding the show's 2016 revival on Showtime.

"I am going to do the next iteration of Twin Peaks for Showtime," Coulson announced, per the Wall Street Journal. "I'm very excited about that."

Is Lara Flynn Boyle Even Being Invited Back To Play 'Twin Peaks' Character in 2016?

While she predictably knows "nothing" yet about the storylines set to be featured in the 2016 revival, she recalled a simple saying from Lynch when he asked her to return.

"Details to follow, and don't play in traffic." Coulson said, recalling Lynch's comments. When she asked for more details to possibly tell people, "he suggested I talk about sustainable forestry."

When the actress was asked if there were any storyline possibilities she wanted for the revival, Coulson quipped:

"I think the log should have a love scene."

With a world as wonderful and strange as Twin Peaks, it wouldn't even be outside the realm of possibility for something of this nature to go down when the series airs in 2016.

Twin Peaks is scheduled to return to television in 2016 on Showtime, though the network has not yet announced a specific premiere date.
