With earlier buzz strongly suggesting that Victoria Beckham had previously refused to participate in the Spice Girls closing ceremonial performance at the 2012 London Olympic Games, many were indeed shocked to see the starlet back on stage alongside the rest of the British pop group on Sunday.

Lucky for her fans, the now highly successful fashion designer wound up changing her tune and partaking in the world renowned event.

However, the artist formerly known as Posh appeared to be less than thrilled to make her center stage comeback, according to the Huffington Post. As the rest of the girls continuously cut rugs throughout, Beckham seemed to be quite immobile as she stood in one spot at certain times during the sets.

Not hinting toward any type of awkwardness or non-enthusiasm she may have felt by being back in the lyrical limelight, the 38 year-old later tweeted the following message:

"I was a pop star for the night," she posted after the performance.

Overall, the crowd seemed to welcome the 90's icons with open arms. Hence, killer dance moves, taxis and good old fashion girl power seemed to dominate the crowd throughout. The quintet even performed their old school melodies such as "Spice Up Your Life" and "Wannabe."

The girl band showed up dressed to impress as well; donning their usual bold and sexy getup, while fortunately staying away from an old favorite; the now out of style chunky shoes.
