Following news that Buddy Valastro, owner and star of the hit show 'Cake Boss,' was arrested on a driving while intoxicated charge, he pleads guilty to his offense on Monday.

According to Fox411, Valastro pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired which is a "violation," not a crime.

The star said that he is "very disappointed" in himself for driving after having a drink, and didn't realize he was impaired.

He claimed to have only one drink, said that he now realizes that even one is too many to drive.

Reportedly, the star was stopped after police saw his yellow 2014 corvette swerving through traffic in Manhattan, and it was found that his blood-alcohol level was slightly above the legal limit.

The New York Times reported on Monday that the star had accepted a plea deal that will not allow Valastro to drive for three months.

The judge also fined Valastro $300 and ordered him to take a course on drunken driving.

"One is too many. I will never get behind the wheel of a car again if I have a drink, even if I have a sip, " Valastro said as he was leaving court.

Valastro then took to Twitter to release a statement: "My sincerest apologies to my family, friends and fans."

He also wrote: "I thought I was fine to drive, but I wasn't. I put people in danger. I am very disappointed in myself."
