"It's pretty crazy to think all the things I've been blessed to do," the Something In The Water singer told The Tennessean on Thursday.

In fact, when asked to come up with her five favorite memories, Underwood didn't even know where to begin. Thankful for so many things, the singer felt compelled to list the first ones to stand out in her mind.

"My night of winning American Idol, that's something I still see so vividly in my head…" she began, "[It's] just a beautiful, incredible moment in my life and obviously the start of all this."

Next Underwood noted being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, which is something that has always meant a lot to her. "I'm part of that family now," she declared proudly, "And it's gonna be with my for the rest of my life and rest of my career."

As for her top performances, the singer noted a particular performance of How Great Thou Art. "There was something really special happening on stage that night," she explained. She was also thankful to have been a part of NBC's The Sound Of Music. Underwood admitted that she'd "never thought" she'd be able to do that and it was truly a wonderful experience.

"Last but not least, one more thing that sticks out above the rest… getting to be a part of thanks for our military," she noted of her USO tours and concerts and military bases.

Most recently the star had performed for HBO's Concert for Valor, which she considered to be pretty special. "Being able to give back wherever we can is very important," she explained. "That's why we're here."

Underwood's latest album, Greatest Hits: Decade #1, will be released on Dec. 9.
