In between tweets bringing attention to the Eric Garner chokehold protests and rallies, Lil' Wayne decided to update his fans on the status of his new album, "Tha Carter V." Basically, he revealed that his once-beloved label, Cash Money Records, is holding his music hostage. He even tweeted, "I want off this label and nothing to do with these people," but in an effort to clean it up, his manager spoke to TMZ.

Time will tell if Wayne was serious about leaving or just in his feelings, at the moment.

Also, fans have started a petition to get Cash Money to release his album, online.
