The Fosters Christmas special is about to take on an ugly turn when Jude walks in on something that will probably hurt his feelings.

Jesus Tries To Win A House Decorating Contest In Sneak Peek Of 'The Fosters' Christmas Special

On Saturday, TV Line posted a sneak peek of the holiday special where Stef and Lena are setting the table and bickering over the presents that the kids are getting from Stef's mom. Apparently, she got them electric skateboards since Stef peaked inside. Lena doesn't approve of this, but Stef informs her that she made sure to tape the present back up.

As big as these presents are, Stef doesn't really support this because she doesn't want her kids to have a bunch of gadgets; she would rather the expensive items they receive are for more important things like a college education.

Lena thinks that Stef is being "petty" about this, which leads into an argument over Lena refusing to speak to her mother. Based on the scene, this is because she's spending Christmas with Lena's brother- which Lena makes clear is a "half" brother.

This is when Jude walks in, but slowly backs up when he realizes how Lena referred to her sibling. Stef asks if the fact that they're not fully related makes a difference, which Lena says it does.

"You can say that it doesn't, but half is not full," she says.

This hurts Jude considering that he is only a half-brother to Callie. So is Lena going to have to explain this to Jude?

The Fosters Christmas special airs on Monday, December 8 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
