The Switched at Birth Christmas special is right around the corner with a detail revealed on what's going to happen between Bay and Emmett.

Bay Strives For The Olympics In 'Switched At Birth' Christmas Special?

Last Tuesday, TV Guide posted some details on the episode where it was revealed that Emmett will not have any feelings for Bay. Considering that they're known as one of the classic couples on the series, this gives some insight on what their lives would be like without this romance. As it turns out, Toby will apparently be the one who has feelings for Bay, which ought to cause some awkwardness since he is technically her brother.

The site then pointed out what can be expected at the end of the episode.

"While you won't get much resolution form the finale fallout, the dream leads to a very happy ending that will hopefully carry into the winter premiere," the site wrote.

The main plot of the episode is going to revolve around Bay and Daphne discovering what their lives would've been like if the switch never happened. There might be some moments they'll enjoy especially since Daphne will be able to hear, but the girls are supposed to come to the realization that they were better off with the opposite parents.

The Switched at Birth Christmas special airs on Monday, December 8 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC Family. Season 4 is expected to begin in January.
