Ink Master contestant Jason Clay Dunn revealed the reason why he chooses to be part of a show that gives him anxiety.

Ty'Eesha Reels Announces Which Artist She Wants To Win 'Ink Master'

On Thursday, the artist posted a photo on his Instagram page where someone tells him how admirable he is for sticking with the competition despite having anxiety problems.

"I watch the show bc you inspire me!" the message reads. "I have an anxiety issue as well! I love watching you push through! I have gone back to pursue my dreams and sometimes I have anxiety so bad I just want to quit. You show me to keep pushing outside of the comfort zone because that's how you reach your dreams! Thank you! @jasonclaydunn"

Dunn responded to this message in the caption where he admitted that he didn't want to be part of the series at first since it gave him so much panic.

"I do not need money or fame," he wrote. "Even though my hard work is now scrutinized daily. I don't mind. There were years when I could barely leave my home and became agoraphobic."

Dunn continued his note with why he lets the pain surround him.

"I chose to suffer again to find some meaning behind all that was lost in my life," he wrote. "So I realized through all the positive messages I've received that I too could make a positive impact on people. I love that. This goes out to all my people that suffer moment to moment. I am here for you."
