Daniel's death came as a shocker, but his actions won't inspire Victoria or Emily to bury the hatchet. Instead of appreciating his final moment of selflessness, David, Emily, and Victoria will blame each other for his untimely demise.

"One of the things we wanted to make sure we had in place was everybody-our three main players: Emily, Victoria and David-are all kind of culpable for what happened to Daniel," explained showrunner Sunil Nayar, according to Entertainment Weekly. "Because of circumstances all three of them put into motion, Daniel ended up in that house and got shot. Each of them carries it with them. Each of them can try to blame the other for it, but at the end of the day, they all know they had a hand in what happened to him."

Emily, however, will gain a new bit of intel regarding her sworn enemy.

"Emily will have to learn what her father was really about and see the David-Victoria relationship for what it actually is, which is something that will help deepen her relationship with her father," Nayar informed E!.
