In the wake of Daniel Grayson's death, Revenge will return from winter hiatus with the aptly titled "Epitaph."

When viewers do return to the Hamptons, David Clarke (James Tupper) will start to take a larger role in defending the ones he loves. Considering he is actively trying to murder Victoria (Madeleine Stowe), the absent father could only be raising his guard for one person - Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp).

David will work to keep Malcolm Black and Victoria at bay, but Daniel's (Josh Bowman) death will continue to permeate the series. Grief is one thing David cannot shield his daughter from.

Picking up not long after Daniel's fatal shooting, the upcoming episode will feature flashbacks to the time before his death. Perhaps his memories will give viewers a little extra intel regarding one of the Hamptons' worst mothers.

"I'm actually in a couple of flashbacks in Episode 11," Bowman informed TV Line. "One of those [flashback] scenes was the last thing I shot, and that was very strange to do. I've been on this show for four years now, so it was a sad day, but one that I'm going to take with me always."
