Danie (Josh Bowman) l met an untimely end on the ABC drama, but the family tragedy won't be enough to get Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) a furlough from rehab.

"She's someone we keep talking about," said executive producer Sunil Nayar, according to Entertainment Weekly. "But Charlotte won't be returning just yet. We want to make sure if we bring her back, it's in the right way to tell the right story."

Allen hasn't commented on Daniel's death, but the actress also isn't giving fans false hope concerning her return. After Charlotte's departure in "Damage," Allen took to Twitter to tell fans what they should expect next.

"Sorry ya'll- Charlotte is gone for good," Allen tweeted.

For those who are still living in the Hamptons, Daniel's death will have lasting repercussions. Margaux (Karine Vanasse), who is currently carrying Daniel's child, will be hit the hardest.

"It's devastating," Nayar told Entertainment Weekly. "It obviously takes her to a place where it lights a fire in her, because she's the one person who had nothing to do with Daniel having died. She needs to come to learn what the truth of the situation was. You're going to see her balancing sorrow and rage in a really extraordinary way."
