While many fans of CBS's Survivor were happy with Natalie Anderson winning this latest season, does that make the entire season a good one?

Survivor: San Juan del Sur had many fans complaining during the pre-merge, with multiple people claiming that it was boring and slow, especially compared to the season before, Survivor: Cagayan, which featured great moments from beginning to end. After the merge happened, however, things really ramped up with Natalie ultimately emerging as the winner.

While Enstars readers overwhelmingly voted that Natalie is one of the 10 best winners of all time, the season itself may or may not have that same status. Natalie winning feels like a fitting end to the season to many, but some are still feeling a bit lukewarm on the season as a whole.

To recap, the pre-merge featured many straightforward boots with not a lot of standout characters. Big characters like John Rocker and Drew Christy were voted out third and fourth, respectively, and there wasn't that much drama otherwise, aside from the constant trading and bartering from the Hunahpu tribe.

Once the merge happened, though, things really got interesting. After Julie McGee quit the game, two sides formed and Jeremy Collins led his alliance in taking out Josh Canfield, one of the bigger threats to win the game. Then, Jon Misch and Jaclyn Schultz decided to make a power move by voting out Jeremy, removing the next biggest threat in the game.

After this, it largely felt like a free-for-all as Reed Kelly tried to jockey for a higher position but failed, then Natalie made a power move against Jon by voting out Alec Christy instead of Keith Nale. Natalie then orchestrated her plan by blindsiding Jon with the help of his closest allies.

Then at the Final 5, Natalie made another huge move by giving her hidden Immunity Idol to Jaclyn, ensuring Baylor Wilson's elimination, which split up her and mother Missy Payne. Winning Jaclyn's trust, Natalie and Missy then voted out Keith and Natalie sailed to one million dollars.

The post-merge was very unpredictable and brought to mind similar crazy post-merges like Amazon, Gabon and Nicaragua. Some fans love the way the season unfolded and others found it boring, while some thought it was just a middle-tier season.
