The holidays will indeed be very happy for some of Salem's residents on Days of Our Lives.

Eric Makes A Confession To Serena

Since her arrival in the town, Eric's (Greg Vaughan) former flame Serena (Melissa Archer) wasted no time reconnecting with him, and the two have quickly fallen deeply back in love and rekindled their romance.

Now, the new couple will take things another step further, and Serena will already meet the remaining members of Eric's family who are in town-including his mother, Marlena (Deidre Hall), who has rarely liked the women who have briefly come into her son's life.

Brady Saves Melanie Again

Serena isn't the only recent Salem transplant to potentially begin finding love however, as Melanie (Molly Burnett) may be striking up a romance of her own-one she never expected-with best friend Brady (Eric Martsolf), as the two continue to grow closer since her arrival back in town. In addition to Brady coming to her rescue when the casino security from Monte Carlo came to find her and get back the money she fleeced from them, he also helped her out when Theresa (Jen Lilley) and Anne (Meredith Scott Lynn) tried to keep her from getting back her job as a nurse at the hospital.

However, the budding romance between Brady and Melanie will be something that hurts Theresa greatly, as not only will she be forced to watch as her former love moved on, but she'll feel particularly stung since her hopeful romance with baseball star Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) was ended before it had a chance to begin.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
