Scandal actress Kerry Washington has gone MIA on all social networks and she said she wouldn't be returning until next year.

On Monday, Washington shared a message with her fans telling them that she's taking a little break from her various social media sites.

"Keep feeling the need to get more quiet, reflective and in the "now" during this holiday break. So making it official. See ya next year…"

Of course the Scandal star's fans are going to miss her, but they are wishing the beloved actress a great holiday season and a Happy New Year.

Luckily the new year is just around the corner and hopefully the actress will be back very soon.

2014 has been a great year for Washington. In April, TMZ reported that actress and her hubby former NFL cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha welcomed their first child Isabelle Amarchi Asomugha.

Amid talk of divorce, those rumors have been shut down and it seems like all is well with Washington and her little family.

The actress celebrated her daughters first Christmas last week, and by the looks of her tweets, one would guess that Washington and her family are really enjoying themselves.
