Rumors have circulated that Al Roker is allegedly trying to sabotage the "Today" show. In what seems to be perhaps a plot to avenge the ousting of his good friend Ann Curry, the 58-year-old compromised a live television spot for the second time in a week.

On Thursday morning, Roker pulled a frozen face for roughly 17 seconds during the live on-air segment.

When co-host Savannah Guthrie had tried to crack a joke about Roker being a perfect match for the wax museum, he replied with the following, according to TMZ:

"We ARE in a wax museum, so it all works out pretty well."

The latest comment comes exactly one week after Roker made another controversial one, on the Aug. 16 show.

While interviewing some female Olympic rowers about one of their post-match traditions of throwing a teammate in the water, Matt Lauer had jokingly said to one of the athletes, "The tradition here in NY is you throw her in the Hudson River."

This prompted Roker to say, "Which is different than our tradition, which is you throw one of us under the bus, but that's another story." It was then followed with awkward chuckles from all.

On June 28, Curry announced her emotional departure from her co-host post on "Today."  It was revealed that her removal was due to the show's low ratings as well as stiff competition from "Good Morning America."  However, buzz has continued to swirl that current co-host Lauer had personally endorsed her removal from the NBC morning show.
