There might be a couple more weeks until Reign returns, but some details have been released on what's about to take place in the next episode, including some characters who will be in more danger.

Is Mary Going To Have A Second Marriage On 'Reign?'

On Saturday, Carter Matt posted a synopsis of the next episode where Mary is going to try to save Conde after finding out that the Vatican is hunting him for "bearing the branded mark of the Dark Riders."

Bash is also going to be at some serious risk when Francis tries to end the legend of the Dark Riders. Plus, Kenna is going to reveal Catherine's motives to Claude, leaving suspicion on what danger might come with that.

Chatter On The Bash-Kenna Relationship On 'Reign'

The royal drama is likely going to take on some more frightening moments since it's already proved that it's not afraid of pushing its limits. The series has already had a number of violent deaths as well as a girl dying during sex and even a horrific rape scene.

Mary de Guise is going to be making a return to the series in an upcoming episode, according to Laurie executive producer Laurie McCarthy.

"We are very excited to welcome back Amy Brenneman as Mary de Guise in an episode airing next year," McCarthy told Entertainment Weekly. "You never know what's coming with Mary de Guise, and this time will be no different as she delivers a series of shocking revelations to Mary, and ultimately forces her to face and confront her failing relationship with Francis."

Reign returns on Thursday, January 22 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
