Reign might take on some unexpected turns with rumors of a new child as well as the death of the main character.

On Tuesday, FanBolt posted some information from Adelaide Kane (Mary) during her appearance at Comic-Con 2014. She mentioned that as much as she would love to see her character have a baby, she's not sure yet if it'll get to that point. She also gave the hint that the marriage between her and Francis may not last that long.
"We'll see how long the show goes for because I would love to get around to see her second marriage and her bearing a child," Kane said. "That will be very exciting. I don't think we're going to get around to that, I don't know if we're going to get around to her being beheaded."
The actress went on about how the death of Mary could work if it'll even happen since she's supposed to have more than a decade left to live.
"We might fudge that if we know that we're going to wrap up at the end of the season, we might say cut to whatever or we might just leave it," she said. "I don't know if we're going to get to her death...we could get to that point over the next three or four seasons in which case I'll be 27, 28 and still too young. She died in her 40's..."
Reign Season 2 is expected to premiere on Thursday, October 2 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
