Two of NCIS: Los Angeles' core characters are bringing romance to the workplace.

LAPD Detective Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and NCIS Special Agent Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) recently decided to be "bold" and take their will-they-won't-they relationship to the next level.

"It's good because it raises the stakes," Olsen explained in a season 6 featurette. "I mean on a show like this there's got to be consequences to their choices and I think that's what were going to find. It's how to juggle these two worlds, and obviously when you emotionally attach yourself to somebody and how that changes the parameters of a work environment."

However, it may take some time for their love life to affect the rest of the team.

"I think, initially, we won't really be open to the team about it," Ruah explained. "I think it's going to be their own private, personal choices, but we'll see how that plays out."
