The season 2 premiere of Looking is just around the corner, and fans can expect to see some major chemistry once again between two of the show's hottest characters.

Richie and Patrick Getting Back Together?

In a pre-season 2 interview with The Backlot, stars Jonathon Groff (Patrick) and Russell Tovey (Kevin) talked about the upcoming episodes-and hinted that there could be some major sparks still flying between their characters when the show picks things up again.

When asked what Groff wanted to see in the second season, Tovey elected to answer the question for him-hinting that all he wanted was for hot sex scenes between Patrick and Kevin.

"He wanted to have lots of sex with me," Tovey said.

"Lots of sex with Russell. Check and check," Groff added.

"Check, check, check," Tovey continued.

The two also addressed what might be drawing their characters together-both during season one and in the newest batch of episodes.

"I think obviously they share the same sense of humor. They're just bonded over work and they have the same passions," Tovey said. "Their interests are all the same level. Sexually, they want each other so they really find each other attractive. That's probably the first thing, This love story comes out of desire to f-k. I keep dropping the F-bomb over and over again. [to Groff] You say it now and I'll be alright."

"F-k. F-k. F-king," Groff said, before adding, "I think on a TV show you never know. From the moment that we had some scenes together in episode four [of season one] there was chemistry between Kevin and Patrick, but I feel there's also chemistry between us as actors. I feel a connection with you that I feel is us playing out characters. It's also how we relate to each other in real life. I think that they started to write to that, so I think that this second season is exploring that."

Looking season 2 premieres Sunday, Jan. 11 at 10 p.m. on HBO.
