Last night (January 7), Fox's new original scripted series, "Empire," aired its premiere episode. Actress Taraji P. Henson, who plays a wronged ex-con named "Cookie," appeared on "The Wendy Williams Show" to discuss her new project and update the Hot Topics queen on everything from her love life to how she spent New Years Eve.

Henson has come a long way from her "Baby Boy" days. The 44-year-old DC native currently resides in Los Angeles in the lap of luxury. She told Wendy her renovated home has a Jacuzzi, a shoe closet, a glam room and a gym. She gushed, "I never leave my house... I love being home now!"

Taraji is living the good life and has earned every penny. Unfortunately, when she's not working, she's not doing much dating either. She revealed, "It's hard to date, guys don't court anymore!"

She continued to vent her frustrations, saying, "Take me out to dinner, say you're going to pick me up at a certain time... Dating should be an event!"

Many women, including Wendy, wonder why she just won't date any of the gorgeous men she has worked with in the past, like Idris Elba. Other than the fact that she doesn't date any of her co-stars, the actress joked, "I'm not trying to fight K. Michelle!"

On a more serious note, she added that they make good "business partners" and literally zipped her lips on the rest. Idris may be just as messy as we think but Taraji's a good friend for keeping his business to herself.
