Maya's (Karla Mosley) latest stunts have been a bit on the shocking side on The Bold and the Beautiful, but don't confuse the character with the actress.

In an interview with Soap Central, Mosley talked about how she is definitely nothing like her character-and in fact, she sometimes feels sick about the decisions the scheming Maya seems to make.

"It's so much fun, but I have to sometimes make sure that I read the scripts in advance, because a lot of times, I'll read them and almost get a stomachache from the decisions she's about to make," she said. "I'll be like, 'Oh, Maya!'. I feel like in my life, I do everything I can to avoid drama. And so then to play this character who literally just walks around starting fired everywhere she goes is really counterintuitive."

But even though she too may feel as is Maya sometimes takes things to far, Mosley admits that eventually, she too stops feeling apologetic for Maya's  starting trouble, because even if what she does is wrong, Maya does tend to feel justified by her actions-even when the actions include helping to break up a marriage on the show, as she has recently done with Rick (Jacob Young) and Caroline (Linsey Godfrey).

"Maya feels justified in everything she does. And she's not going to compromise for anything at this point," Mosley explained. "She's like, 'I'm going to get whatever I want, and whatever collateral damage, not my fault. Not my problem.'"

But even though Maya may be getting her dreams come true now, things could soon change when her little sister, Nicole (Reign Edwards) debuts in January and potentially becomes the voice the reason that appears to have been missing in Maya's life.

"...my energy as well as Maya's energy tends to be a little up in the air and all over the place, a little explosive and maybe five feet off the ground, and Reign is very naturally grounded and centered, so I think the balance of the two sisters is going to play nicely," she said. "I'm looking forward to hat fans are going to think."

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
