"Love and Hip Hop NY" newcomer Diamond Strawberry has been widely ridiculed for the past few weeks, ever since the viewers found out she lied to her boyfriend Cisco about her 6-year-old daughter. During episode two Strawberry came clean to her cheating, ex-boyfriend about her daughter, whom she'd referred to as a dog. But, in a new interview with Hello Beautiful, she insists that she's not an unfit mother.

"The one thing I wish I could take back in the season so far is the dog reference to my daughter. Anybody that knows me knows that my daughter is my world," Strawberry said. "I love that little girl to death... I'm a damn good mom, people don't know me!"

Since the Dec. 24 air date of episode two, Twitter has made Diamond the butt of many jokes on Monday nights. Her father, former professional baseball player Darryl Strawberry, is "pissed" about all of the memes and texts that get sent to the show, but lucky for her, he doesn't watch. "He supports my decision," she said.

As the season progressed, Diamond found out that Cisco had a 6-month old son, who was conceived while they were dating. She revealed, "Learning that Cisco had a child was very hard for me, I was pissed... What he did was f-ked up!"

She made it a point to say what she regretted "so far" during the interview, so we have a feeling that things are about to get worse between her and Cisco as the season rolls on. For now, she is focused on her new gig as the face of the Echelon Hair extension line and her group home in Los Angeles.
