Katie Maloney is shocked that she was so easily dropped by longtime friend Stassi Schroeder.

Stassi Schroeder Did Not Attend Katie Maloney's Birthday Celebrations

On the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules, fans watched as Maloney and Schroeder sat down to discuss their friendship. Sadly, the pair, who had been friends since fans met them years ago, were unable to get their relationship back on track.

"My heart broke to hear her say that maybe we just weren't that good of friends," Maloney wrote. "How could she say that to me? I had cared for and looked after her constantly and now that is all compromised because of a personal decision made. Again I realized that decision would affect her, but at the end of the day, you have to live and let live. Let the ones you love live their life and support their decisions."

On the show, Maloney admitted she should have told Schroeder she was going to Miami before it happened, but unfortunately, Schroeder was being unresponsive at the time.

After the episode aired, Maloney proved to fans she had reached out to Schroeder during this time with a set of text message screenshots. In the screenshots, messages Maloney sent to Schroeder went unanswered.

"I hope that Stassi one day will understand why I did what I did, and I hope that she realizes that it wasn't an act of betrayal but one of self-preservation," Maloney added. "Until then, I'm very happy with my decisions and feel like I'm being true to myself."
