Bradley Cooper is ready to take on Guardians of the Galaxy 2, but the voice of Rocket Raccoon is still in the dark when it comes to plotlines.

Currently running press tours for American Sniper, Cooper fielded questions from MTV regarding his continued involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Unfortunately, Cooper is unsure what his gun-toting garbage bandit will be up to next.

"I don't know anything about it. Nothing, yeah," Cooper told MTV. "[Writer/director] James [Gunn] emailed me and said, 'You know the movies done well, we're going to make another one.' I said, 'Great.'"

Like Vin Diesel's work on Groot, Cooper came into production way after costars Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax), Lee Pace (Ronan), and Karen Gillan (Nebula). Considering the main cast is already set, Cooper could be brought into work earlier.

"I don't know if they'll let me, I don't know how it will work," Cooper explained. "I just do whatever James Gunn tells me."
