Ann Curry is being offered an $8 million book deal to reveal the inside scoop on her former TODAY show colleagues.

The book would be a tell-all where Curry would share inside knowledge on her former co-anchor Matt Lauer and her replacement Savannah Guthrie.

Lauer and Guthrie reportedly have had secret scandals in the past behind the scenes and book publishers feel it would be a good read for Curry's fan base and TODAY show viewers.

"The NBC brass pulled the rug out from under Ann and made her the fall guy for the show's bad ratings," a source reportedly told The National Enquirer. "Now publishers are desperate for her to spill everything."

Lauer has cheated on his wife through numerous affairs with other women and Curry has "heard and seen it all," the source added. "Ann knew Matt cheated on his wife during the winter Olympics in Vancouver in 2010 and also while he was working the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino, Italy."

Curry was reported to be disappointed in Lauer for helping orchestrate her exit and be replaced by Guthrie due to a decline in televison ratings.

TODAY show has been beaten by Good Morning America after holding the no.1 spot for sixteen years. Lauer is now reportedly "hated" by TODAY show's production crew members and several long-term producers for Curry's departure.

"There are several producers that have been with the TODAY Show for a very long time, over ten years, and Matt Lauer is now hated by them because they feel that he is responsible for Ann Curry's exit." a source told Radar Online. "Matt on the other hand has been known to act like a real diva."

TODAY show staff now fears cutbacks due to a decline in ratings. Now that Comcast has taken over NBC and laid off almost two dozen employees at Jay Leno, many are wondering if Lauer, the highest paid news anchor in the country will sacrifice any of his $25 million salary to save their jobs. Leno reduced his salary by several million to save the jobs of several staff members at his late night talk show.

Staff members are hoping that "it will put pressure on Matt to do the right thing," a source told The New York Post.

Curry co-anchored with Lauer for the first time since her exit in late June in early August. The 54-year-old gave him a lukewarm response for the rare pairing. When Lauer said "Good morning, Ann, nice to see you," Curry coolly replied "Good morning" and went quickly into her segment.

When Lauer ended the segment with "Good to see you," she nodded her head. Backstage sources told US Weekly "you could cut the tension with a knife" that day, and that Curry "wouldn't even look at Matt" when the cameras were off.
