It seems like Countess LuAnn de Lesseps' can't talk - or write - her way out of this one.

Because of her role on the "The Real Housewives of New York City," de Lesseps' life is always on display and because she was caught telling one "white lie," her younger beau of 18 months, Jacques Azoulay, suspects the worst: that she cheated on him with a Johnny Depp look-alike during a St. Barts vacation with her fellow cast mates.

De Lesseps had a very suspicious talk with her friend Catherine, asking her to tell Tomas, the Johnny Depp look-alike, not to say he was with her the night before. She told the other "Housewives" cast members that a group of Italian men came to the house since they knew she had not returned to their Saint Barts home alone. However, cast member Carole Radziwill pointed out she heard de Lesseps and her guest speaking French.

"Jacques suspects that LuAnn cheated on him during the vacation as she was caught in a bold faced lie," a source close to the couple told RadarOnline. "She told him that she had run into her Italian friends at the nightclub and brought them back to the vacation rental house. However, she has admitted that she lied and didn't bring Italians back to the house and that it was the Johnny Depp look-alike that was there, but hasn't really offered any valid or logical excuses to Jacques."

Watch the clip and determine for yourself if the Countess cheated.

But de Lesseps is relentless in giving excuses, and is even pointing her fingers at the producers' editing.

"LuAnn is blaming the producers of the show, saying they edited it to make it look like she cheated. Things are VERY strained between Jacques and LuAnn right now because he just doesn't know if he can trust her," a source said. "If she lied about just a mundane fact regarding who she brought back to the house, what else could she be lying about?"

Though the Countess defended herself in an Aug. 28 Bravo blog post, she tried to clear her name once more on Sept. 4.

"Character counts and honesty matters. I'm sorry I concocted a story about my 'Italian friends' coming back to the house. I admit that my problem is the cover-up not the crime. I can assure you once again that nothing happened with Tomas," she wrote. "Fudging the truth always turns out bad. So learn from my mistake and remember that appearances do matter especially to the people who love you. Jacques and I are very happy and he's forgiven me for my silly mistake."

She also blogged, "The ladies were relentless in their questioning of Tomas and his whereabouts, and I felt bad that he got caught up in this mess."

But according to the RadarOnline source, Azoulay is not as forgiving as she's making him seem.

"Jacques hasn't forgiven her for her 'silly mistake.' He doesn't think there is anything silly about this situation. Cheating allegations are nothing to laugh about in Jacques' mind, and he is going to see the rest of this play out," the source said. "LuAnn doesn't want to talk about this anymore though and tries to change the subject whenever the cheating allegations come up."

In her Aug. 28 blog post, de Lesseps wrote, ""What may have looked like infidelity on last night's episode was in reality a ride home with a friend and a tour of the house after an evening of fun on vacation eight months ago. Do you think I would bring a man back to a houseful of housewives (and cameras) if I were planning on having an affair?"

Later in her post, she revealed, "As I write this, Jacques and I are on vacation and we couldn't be more united and happy!"

If indeed the Countess didn't cheat, there's no need to feel bad for Tomas; he got some action from Sonja Morgan.

During the second episode of the St. Barts trip, Morgan said, ""LuAnn had her turn last night. Tonight is Sonja's night."

After prancing around the house in a completely see-through white lace shirt and shaking her stuff with Ramona Singer in a bacchanalian dance, Tomas succumbed to Morgan's advances. He followed Morgan to an unseen part of the house, and told her she had a "fabulous ass."

According to the Countess' most recent blog, Morgan and Tomas' fling didn't bother her one bit.

"I wasn't surprised that Sonja and Tomas got together and I feel that it is none of my business what they did (or didn't) do that night. Both of them are adults and can do whatever floats their boats."
