Fans have been dying to know just which Ocean Park patient will die during the final episodes of Red Band Society-and a new preview clip for the Jan. 31 episode, The Guilted Age, may be giving them the answer they have been seeking.

Fans are already going to be crying their eyes out during that and the other two episodes of the show that are scheduled to air because they're the final ones for the sentimental series-but they will also have to shed tears when their favorite bad boy at the hospital doesn't appear to be slated to leave the hospital alive.

When the mid-season finale aired in December, Hunter (Daren Kagasoff) was about to leave the hospital so he could live out his final days in comfort, when a last minute liver turned up and allowed him to get the transplant he needed in order to live. However, it may still be too late for him, as a preview clip for the Jan. 31 episode appears to show him in critical condition-and things don't appear to get better for him.

"I love you," Kara (Zoe Levin) says to him in the clip. "Please don't die."

However, it appears something will go wrong, as the monitors attached to him start beeping uncontrollably and Kara begins screaming for help.

And , in a grand act proving his love for her, Hunter has done something so huge for Kara, who needs a heart, but is on the bottom of the transplant list because of her previous heavy use of drugs and alcohol. He has bequeathed his heart to her if he dies-and though Kara is desperate for one, she doesn't want his if it means she has to lose him.

"Sometimes what you live for isn't what you want," a voiceover in the clip says.

Red Band Society airs Saturday, Jan. 31 at 9 p.m. n FOX.
