Congrats to Hart of Dixie actor Scott Porter and his wife, Kelsey Mayfield, as new reports announce he and his wife are expecting their first child together.

Porter announced the exciting news via Instagram Monday. It's not clear how far along she is but Mayfield is certainly sporting a growing baby bump. That's how fans knew that she was pregnant. It certainly wasn't the caption he shared along with the picture. Instead, he decided to show love to actor Channing Tatum.

The two were at a premiere for his newest movie Jupiter Ascending.

But fans couldn't help but offer up their congratulations for the new parents.

One wrote, "Baby Scott" while another added, "Waiting for the 'official' announcement! Congratulations on the lil Porter!"

Porter certainly isn't the first Hart of Dixie star to be expecting a child, though he might be the first male. Most recently, his co-star Rachel Bilson, who plays title character Zoe Hart, just delivered her first child, Briar Rose, in December of last year.

The cast had just finished wrapping for the third season, which is currently airing. She is currently on maternity leave. Interestingly enough, that's said to be why this season of the hit CW series is cut short to only 10 episodes. As for the second season Jaime King, who portrays Southern belle Lemon Breeland, was pregnant for most of that season. She ended up taking six weeks off during the season. In the show Lemon simply went to go to stay with her grandmother.

You can see Porter on Hart of Dixie Fridays at 8/7c on the CW.
