For "The Talk's" Season Three premier, the hosts went au naturale.

On Sept. 10, Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood appeared in front of a live audience, who was equally as underdone, donning only a robe or towel without wearing any makeup.

The ladies jokingly covered their faces when they first walked out on stage, but seemed to grow more comfortable and confident as the show progressed.

The no-makeup show was Gilbert's idea (who is also the show's executive producer), and in an interview with ET she explained how her co-hosts encouraged her to make it happen.

"There's not many single one person that would go on TV in front of millions of people with no makeup, so to be in a group of people that are willing to do that together is really cool. It shows that we're willing to show parts of our lives that not everybody is willing to show. We really are girlfriends and because we feel safe with each other, we're willing to show more of ourselves to the public."

Gilbert confessed to the Huffington Post that she is probably the most scared out of all of 'The Talk' hosts.

"I think I am the most frightened. Which is funny, because I'm not known as somebody who is into appearances or makeup that much. People think of me as more natural. We are so used to seeing ladies that way [with makeup], when they are without it, it doesn't look like the norm. Whereas a man's flaws are perceived as sexy, on a women they look like imperfections."

The hosts complimented each other on their make-up free look during the show.

"Gorgeous," the ladies gushed (via People magazine) when Osbourne's face was revealed alongside a shot of her all done up.

"She has the best skin, like on the planet, I think," Gilbert said.

But a modest Osbourne replied, "No, no, it's all bought and paid for."

Following the audience's laughter, the "America's Got Talent" judge said, "I dyed my eyebrows, I dyed my eyelashes."

All of the hosts seemed to agree with Underwood's statement, "It's refreshing, but tomorrow we'll be right back [wearing makeup]."

Osbourne and her co-hosts weren't the only celebrities who had to go barefaced. Jamie Lee Curtis and "The Young and the Restless" stars Melody Scott Thomas and Michelle Stafford - along with Katherine Kelly Lang from "The Bold and the Beautiful" also went makeup-free.
