The murderous psychopath from season 1 is morphing into something much different and far more compassionate. Currently trekking towards the City of Light, the former scourge of the 100 appears to have pulled a 180.

Call it growing up; call it growing a conscience, but it looks like Jaha's (Isaiah Washington) quest has put Mr. Murphy (Richard Harmon) on a path to redemption.

"All season long [Murphy's] really been trying to associate with more people and stop being a loner, but no one's buying it," Harmon said, according to Zap2It. "He's still the outsider, so when one of his own people comes to him asking to take that leap of faith -- I think at this point, he had no other choice. You know the saying 'the devil you know is better than the devil you don't?' Well, I think Murphy is just about done with the devil you know."

This doesn't mean Murphy is done looking out for numero uno. He may care about his fellow companions as they journey across the Dead Zone, but that doesn't mean he is ready to lay down his life if there is any way not to.

"It really shows there's a million ways to die out there," Harmon told Zap2It. "We're going to figure out you have to worry about the person next to you. And you have to look out for yourself, which is something Murphy does the best on the show. Nobody else is going to look out for him."
