They aren't exactly the best of friends, but Melanie's (Molly Burnett) curiosity after hearing Theresa's (Jen Lilley) new beau on a mysterious phone call will cause her to feel some concern for her co-worker on Days of Our Lives.

The two women certainly didn't hit things of very well after learning each other's identities, because Melanie wanted Theresa to pay for the things she had done to Brady (Eric Martsolf), but they have since learned to deal with one another. And though she isn't too happy that Melanie and Brady appear to have found love with one another, Theresa has thankfully been distracted enough with her own new romance with Clint (Lucas Kerr) to really cause problems for the couple.

However, Melanie overheard Clint on a phone call to a mysterious Dr. Mandrake about Theresa, and ever since, she's been curious about just what Theresa's beau may be hiding-and if he's up to no good when it comes to being with her.

Now, Mel's curiosity will get the best of her, and she will start snooping around and investigating who the man Clint was speaking to was-and if she stumbles across the truth it will not only change Theresa's life, but Brady's as well.

The last thing many believe Theresa did as a stunt to keep Brady was claim to be pregnant with his child-but a test later proved she wasn't. However, what no one knows is that she really had been-but Kristen (Eileen Davidson) used her henchmen to kidnap and drug Theresa-and Dr. Mandrake was then commissioned to remove the fetus from Theresa-and have it implanted into Kristen instead.

Clint has since been dispatched to ensure Theresa never remembers what happened to her-and is likely meant to take extreme actions if she does.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
