After rumors claimed Messer and her business partners were headed for an investigation, the Teen Mom 2 star's salon services website, Be Glossy, was taken offline. On Facebook, Be Glossy released a statement regarding their decision to close the site.

“We will protect our reputation and ourselves. This is a future career we believe in,” they wrote. “Success doesn’t come without set backs and haters. We aren’t afraid of either.”

Earlier this week, Messer was accused of illegally operating her business by offering services she is not certified to do. However, days later, the reality star's partner, Leslee Pannell, spoke to The Ashley's Reality Roundup, denying the business was illegal.

"There is zero truth to the investigation,” Pannell said. “Nobody [from the state board] has contacted me. We absolutely do have a license. Leah hasn’t done hair or makeup for anything. It’s all me or Crystal.”

Although Pannell claims Messer wasn't doing any of the work, the website had her listed as "owner" and "stylist."

As of Friday, when fans visit Be Glossy's website, they receive a message, which reads, "This domain has recently been purchased. Please allow 48 hours for this domain be to be active."

Messer and her family are currently filming the sixth season of Teen Mom 2. The series is expected to return to MTV later this year.
