‘General Hospital’ Cast News: ‘All My Children’ Alum Rebecca Budig Joins Soap, Find Out Details About Her ‘Killer’ Role Here [PHOTO]
The numbers of people running around the fictional town of Port Charles on General Hospital will be getting even bigger as a familiar soap face prepares to join the cast.
Rebecca Budig, who previously portrayed Greenlee Smythe on All My Children, is officially joining the cast of GH, something head writers Frank Valentini and Ron Carlivati announced via Twitter on Feb. 10.
The writers played the announcement like a game, teasing fans about a casting announcement and discussing their plans for a character they announced would be 'killer'-before formally revealing that the new character would be portrayed by Budig.
