Tyler Baltierra recently got a tattoo to honor his second daughter, Novalee Reign.

Just one day after his fiancée, Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell, revealed a footprint tattoo on the top of her foot, Baltierra has posted a photo of his new tattoo on Instagram.

"Two day session complete thanks to @lancekellarstudios who did an amazing job on my #NovaleeReign tattoo," Baltierra wrote in the caption of the photo on Tuesday night. "This representation that I will always protect her is PERFECT! Thanks Lance! #WatchfulProtector #SilentGuardian."

Baltierra and Lowell welcomed their second daughter, Novalee Reign, on Jan. 1, five years after their first child, Carly, was born. After choosing adoption for their first daughter, Baltierra and Lowell went on to appear on Teen Mom, where they shared their story of coping with an adoption and preparing for life as a future family.

Although Baltierra and Lowell weren't financially, or emotionally, ready for a child in 2009, when Carly was born, they have since established their careers and bought a home in Michigan.

 

On Monday, Lowell debuted her own tattoo on Instagram. Along with the photo, she wrote, "About to start! Novalees little foot."

Baltierra and Lowell will make their Teen Mom return in Teen Mom OG on Monday, March 23 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
