The latest artwork from President Barack Obama's re-election campaign shows him thinking quite highly of himself.

Obama's official Twitter account sent out a post on Sept. 19 stating, "A poster to say there are no red states or blue states, only the United States" along with a promotional flag poster. However, the flag is very different from the traditional American kind.

It has no blue or red stars, or states at all, and instead, the star field representing the 50 states is replaced by the "O" logo used in Obama's re-election campaign.

The Examiner called Obama out on his new art work and pointed out "the symbolism - [is] that Obama appears to consider himself greater than the people of the 50 states."

Many critics have already voiced their opinion on the matter. Political commentator Michelle Malkin posted on her Facebook "OH MY GOD. Obama campaign remakes the American flag in narcissist-in-chief's image. You've got to see it to believe it."

Obama only earlier this week appeared at a successful fundraiser for his campaign at the 40/40 club in New York City, thrown by his supporters Jay-Z and Beyonce. The event reported ranked in $4 million for his campaign.

Now it seems like Obama has rubbed Americans the wrong way with his attempt at mixing art and politics.
